CEC Capital Management is the first venture capital management firm came from China with more than decade presence in the Silicon Valley. Now backed by CEC (China Electronics Corporation), a leading IT conglomerate in China, CEC Capital expands its focus from semiconductor to TMT and carry on the mission to bridge the Silicon Valley to China’s IT industry.

Since end of 1997, our strong industry background and connection with China's IT industry made us valuable for entrepreneurs who particularly have cross-border business between the U.S. and China. Our understanding of Chinese culture and business behavior contributed a lot to our portfolios.

Our notable investments including Newave Semiconductor Co. (acquired by IDT), OmniVision Technology, Inc. (traded on NASDAQ as OVTI), and Spreadtrum Communications (traded on NASDAQ as SPRD) .
