CEC Capital Management LLC

Mr. Dong Cui was named as CEO/President of CEC Capital Management LLC, formerly Shanghai Hua Hong International USA LLC in Dec. 2009.

He was appointed as executive vice president of Shanghai Hua Hong International USA LLC in Dec. 2002. Among his roles in the company, Mr. Cui identifies new deal flows by leveraging his comprehensive experiences and deep connection with China’s IT, especially semiconductor industry, as well as conducts the financial analysis of potential additions to the Company’s venture portfolio. Mr. Cui provides his financial expertise to portfolio companies and supports start-ups to adapt to the challenges and opportunities of doing business in China.

Prior to joining Hua Hong International USA, Mr. Cui was the Deputy Director of the General Office of the Board of Directors of Shanghai Hua Hong Group and the director of the Beijing Representative Office of the Group, serving as a liaison between the Group and Government.

Before joining the private sector, Mr. Cui served as the Executive Secretary of the General Office of China’s Ministry of Electronic Industry from 1996 to 1998.

Mr. Cui holds a M.S in Finance from Golden Gate University, in San Francisco, and a M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from TongJi University, in Shanghai.  In addition, he has earned certificates in accounting and taxation from De Anza College in Cupertino, CA.
